SOUTH AFRICA: A MOTORCYCLE SHOWCASE

The Lightning Bolt – Africa’s highest, winner-takes-all, custom motorcycle showcase is scheduled for Saturday, November 28 (dependent on Covid-19 status).

It’s a R150 000 prize, expert judging panel and 25km rideable challenge. Inviting Africa’s custom builders but allowing the passionate amateur wrench monkey to enter – a first for motorcycle culture in Africa!

The continent’s best builders will gather in Cape Town to present their innovative machines. The winner will not just be decided on aesthetics alone; there is judging criteria for ride-ability, paint, welding/fabrication, originality and upholstery – with total transparency in the judging process.
