SOUTH AFRICA: EASTERN CAPE BIKERS CHARITY RUN
EC BIKERS (Eastern Cape Bikers) are planning their 4th Charity Run this coming Saturday 1 August 2020. Bikers from different clubs as well as solo riders throughout EC established two Whatsapp groups to in order to facilitate the process of collecting donations geared towards the purchase of basic commodities for disadvantaged communities in the Eastern Cape.
On 1 August 2020, a group of bikers will be saddling down to Queenstown to handover food parcels to a total of 30 previously screened and highly impoverished families. The money and groceries collected will be supplement the efforts of a fellow biker Shane, who runs Zwelitsha Cold Storage, and has been supplying the community with chicken.
EC Bikers had previously collaborated with an NGO/NPO “Embo Yakwantu” on two of their charity runs. Upcoming runs will be solely planned and executed EC BIKERS. All lockdown regulations will be observed and complied with during the drop-off of the food parcels to beneficiaries.
