Ducati Comes Out Shining in 2022
Ducati, the renowned motorcycle manufacturer, has closed 2022 with a record 61,562 motorcycles delivered to enthusiasts worldwide. This impressive result comes on the heels of the company’s successes in the racing world and is a testament to the brand’s continued investment in innovative motorcycle development and improved product quality.
According to Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati, the sales result is a reflection of the company’s flexibility and commitment to its customers, despite the challenges faced by the automotive industry in 2022, including supply discontinuities in the semiconductor industry. He also thanked the company’s team, suppliers, and dealers for their hard work and dedication.
Italy, the United States, and Germany were the top markets for Ducati in 2022, with growth of 10%, -6%, and 9% respectively. The Multistrada V4, Monster family, and Scrambler Ducati 800 family were the top-selling models.
Ducati’s sales network also saw growth in 2022, with 821 dealerships worldwide, the highest number ever, expanding to include new markets in Brunei, Ecuador, El Salvador, and Mongolia. Despite a challenging economic climate, the company remains confident in its future prospects, thanks to a positive order portfolio and expanding sales network.
